Stories of the Sierra-Cascade

Twelve private landowners, along with their family members, and one very dedicated community member participated in creating this booklet. These individuals graciously volunteered to share the story of their land, and in one case the story of a valuable community asset, and their decision to conserve it. They were identified by the local land trust with which they had worked to achieve this end. Each of these land trusts is a member of the Sierra-Cascade Land Trust Council and all work with willing private landowners in local communities throughout the Sierra-Cascade region to help them preserve their property for perpetuity.

The stories, listed in alphabetical order by the land trust involved, are:

The Story of Wildman Hill And The American River Conservancy

The Story of Benton Hot Springs Valley And The Eastern Sierra Land Trust
